| Definition | Charlotte County Code Section 1-10-19 requires that any person who engages in or manages any business, profession or occupation in the County, for which a business tax receipt is required, obtain that receipt prior to the commencement of that business, profession or occupation. | |||
| Rate | $35 (please contact the Tax Collector's Office). Fee is for a full year which begins August 1 and ends September 30 of the following year. Fees are prorated for half of the year effective April 1. | |||
