Enterprise Charlotte Foundation, a charitable 501(c)3 organization,
was established to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest
in the long-term economic vitality of Charlotte County.
The
Foundation raises private sector money to support the efforts of
the Economic Development Office and the Enterprise Charlotte Board
to improve the business climate.
The
Economic Development Office is the County's economic development
engine, recruiting and retaining businesses, providing business
assistance and monitoring emerging business issues. |

| Investing
in our Community |
Economic
prosperity and stability requires public commitment, private involvement,
hard work and financial investment. The competitive nature
of attracting businesses to locate or expand, and even to work with
existing businesses, requires unique skills and available resources.
In an arena where supply always outpaces demand, communities have
to be innovative, creative and market-savvy to attract top businesses. |
| |
| Why
Should You Invest? |
The
more dollars flowing into a community, the more money available
for infrastructure such as parks, roads and schools, all of which
result in a higher standard of living and quality of life for citizens.
In addition, economic diversification is critical to maintain the
financial security of a community during economically challenging
times.
Supporting economic
development in Charlotte County gives our community a competitive
edge as we head into the future. Building a foundation of
high wage jobs, insuring access to education, quality housing, peace
of mind and outstanding quality of life are the responsibility of
today's business community and citizens. |

| Investing
In Charlotte County Is Good For Business |
"Charlotte
County remains relatively underdeveloped as a community, which means
the chance for a business person to be on the front end of opportunity
when it's at its peak. Front end in terns of the best bang
for the investment dollar, front end in finding the best locations
and front end in securing a superior long-term foundation for either
a new or existing business. Your investment is further secured
knowing that we sit in one of the most attractive growth markets
in the country, somewhat insulated from dramatic economic changes
due to the nature of our population, climate, and overall desirable
living conditions." |

"Great
places to work and live don't just happen. They are the result
of planning, promotion and monetary commitment on the part of the
people who live there. To insure that the quality of life
and the economic opportunities they expect are available.
In Charlotte County, our Economic Development Foundation is a tool
to make good things happen. We need your membership, your
momentum and your monetary support." |
